This year, we are thrilled to welcome Sir Ben Wallace as our guest speaker.

Sir Ben, who served as Secretary of State for Defence from 2019 to 2023, will be joining Peter Spiller, Alastair Laing, and Chris Clothier at this year’s Investor Day.

Sir Ben Wallace served as Secretary of State for Defence following a distinguished career combining politics, the military, and the private sector. The longest-serving Defence Secretary in over 20 years, and the second-longest in the history of the role, he is one of the most experienced politicians in the fields of defence, security, and foreign affairs.

His time at the Ministry of Defence coincided with key global events — in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and in the UK — and a period of rapid change in the nature and source of threats. With extensive knowledge of security and geopolitics, Sir Ben delivers insights into the relationships, personalities, risks, and priorities that shape the world.
